- As writer and section editor, brainstormed various newsworthy topics, coordinated and directed a stable of over twenty writers, and designed paper layout and articles.
- As Managing Editor, generated ideas for feature content, scheduled printing press, worked closely with university administrators and the public, mediated staff disputes, and reformed the editing process by instituting a consistent routine characterized by rigorous standards to ensure quality of work and professionalism.
- As Business Manager, created publication schedules for three volumes of the paper, estimated cost foresights and created budget proposals for university funding, and managed financial accounts. Attracted more advertising revenue than any other business manager in the recent history of the paper.
